CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Megan Maginity of 22nd Century Media joined Good Day Chicago for this week’s Best of the Burbs.

Stories this week include a standout runner from Sandburg High School who was injured and told he could never run again. But he’s beating the odds.

Also, a Long Grove barbeque joint is giving back in a big way, to the tune of 6,000 lbs! They’re feeding veterans throughout the holidays.

And finally, a mac and cheese contest in Highland Park raised over $5,000!
