Before Ferguson and Garner, there was Deonta Mackey, a 16-year-old who was shot to death last February during the attempted robbery of an off-duty Cook County sheriff.
The Free Street Theater is now showing a play called "Track 13." The performance uses the killing of Deonta Mackey as the jumping off point to ask why police shoot to kill.
