18-year-old killed in Englewood gas station shooting: police

An 18-year-old man has died after a shooting in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood, according to police.

Around 4:18 p.m. Wednesday, Chicago police say an 18-year-old man was inside a gas station in the 6600 block of S. Wentworth when four armed suspects got out of a car and fired shots.

The victim was hit multiple times and transported to the University of Chicago Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

The victim was later identified as Tyrese Smith of Chicago.

What's next:

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

Area Detectives are investigating the incident.
