Back of the Yards shooting leaves 15-year-old wounded

CHICAGO - A 15-year-old boy was shot and hospitalized Thursday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

The teen was walking in an alley around 11:30 p.m. when gunfire broke out in the 4700 block of South Seeley Avenue, according to police.

The teen was shot in the arm and was transported to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in good condition.

There is no one in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
