Chicago drive-by shooting leaves man dead

A man was killed in a drive-by shooting Tuesday morning in Chicago's Fernwood neighborhood.

What we know:

The man was outside around 1 a.m. when he was shot at by someone traveling in a red vehicle in the 9900 block of South Princeton Avenue.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made. Area Two detectives are investigating.

What we don't know:

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet identified the victim. 

Police have not released details on the make or model of the vehicle used in the shooting.
