Man seriously hurt in shooting on Chicago's Near West Side

CHICAGO - A man was listed in serious condition following a shooting on Chicago's Near West Side Friday night.

According to police, a 20-year-old man was shot twice in the 2100 block of West. Gladys Avenue around 7:25 p.m.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition. 

There were no additional details initially available. No arrests have been made. Area Detectives are investigating.
