Three Chicago police officers have been honored for rescuing a woman who was under attack.

Last summer, police responded to a call for help and found a man trying to choke a woman. He was also trying to bite off her ear.

Officers Andrew Dakuras, John Norwood, Jr. and Julio Rodriguez freed the woman and took the man into custody. They were recognized Tuesday by the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
