CHICAGO - A death investigation was launched after a woman was found fatally shot inside a home Wednesday morning in Chicago's Garfield Ridge neighborhood.

The 27-year-old woman was found around 4:43 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the head inside a residence in the 5800 block of South Nagle Avenue, according to police.
