Happy 100th birthday, Mr. Robie

ATLANTA - A former Clark College professor William Robie celebrates his 100th birthday Wednesday.

Some of his journeys was shared during the Living Legend Luncheon event in southwest Atlanta.

The Milledgeville sharecropper graduated from Washington High School, fought in World War II, and then taught at Clark College for decades.

Officials also gave Atlanta's newest centenarian the city of Atlanta's highest civic honor: the Phoenix Award.
