No recall was issued because the product is no longer available for purchase.

The ground beef item was produced Feb. 26, 2026. The public health alert applies to 16-ounce (1-pound) plastic, vacuum-packed packages labeled "White Oak Pastures, Radically Traditional Farming, Grassfed Ground Beef."

The product bears establishment number "EST 34729" inside the USDA mark of inspection and is stamped on the back with "105761 Sell by 03/19/26." It was shipped to a distributor and to Mom’s Organic Markets retail locations in Washington, D.C., and Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The issue was identified by the company after it received two consumer complaints.

No confirmed injuries have been reported. Anyone concerned about a possible injury should contact a health care provider, according to FSIS, which said it has received no additional reports of harm.

Why you should care:

Officials are concerned some of the product may still be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers are urged not to eat it and to throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
