WASHINGTON, D.C. (Fox 32 News) - Hundreds of furloughed federal employees came to a church in Washington, D.C. on Sunday for bags of free food.
About 400 bags of groceries were distributed.
Furloughed employees had to show a federal ID to receive the food.
The government shutdown has lasted for 28 days, leaving hundreds of thousands of federal employees wondering when they will get their next paycheck.
