4 injured in Kennedy Expressway crash in West Loop

A major accident on the outbound Kennedy Expressway near Adams and Monroe left four people injured just before noon on Wednesday. Crews were working to clear two heavily damaged vehicles from the roadway.

CHICAGO - A Chicago man was killed and three others were injured in a crash on the outbound Kennedy Expressway in West Loop Wednesday morning. 

Illinois State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on the I-90 southbound exit to I-290 eastbound at 11 a.m. 

Four adults were transported to Stroger Hospital and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. 

One of the victims, 20-year-old Mohmedtalh Tailor, was later pronounced dead. 

No further information is available at this time.
