Man critically wounded in Near West Side shooting
CHICAGO - A man was shot Sunday on the Near West Side.
About 11:23 a.m., he was in the 1900 block of West Van Buren Street when someone fired shots, striking him in the chest, Chicago police said.
The 26-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Area Three detectives are investigating.
