Man killed after being shot multiple times in Chatham alley

CHICAGO - An 18-year-old man was shot to death in Chatham Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting occurred in the 8700 block of South Wabash.

At about 4:48 p.m., the 18-year-old man was in an alley when he was shot multiple times in the body by an unknown offender, Chicago police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
