CHICAGO - A 42-year-old man was seriously injured in a Bronzeville shooting on Thursday, according to Chicago police.

A 42-year-old man and another man were involved in an argument in the 4500 block of S. Drexel Blvd. around 5:34 p.m. Police say the other man pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots in the 42-year-old's direction.

The victim was hit by gunfire in his left hand, right shoulder, and chest, according to police. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.

Area One Detectives are investigating and no one is in custody at this time.
