Man seriously injured in Bronzeville shooting after argument: police

A 42-year-old man was seriously injured in a Bronzeville shooting on Thursday, according to Chicago police.

A 42-year-old man and another man were involved in an argument in the 4500 block of S. Drexel Blvd. around 5:34 p.m. Police say the other man pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots in the 42-year-old's direction.

The victim was hit by gunfire in his left hand, right shoulder, and chest, according to police. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.
