Man shot in Chatham neighborhood by someone he knew
CHICAGO - A man was shot Saturday in Chatham on the South Side.
About 2 p.m., the 51-year-old was in the 7900 block of South Dobson Avenue when someone he knew drove up in a gold-colored Camry, got out and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The man was struck in the knee and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
Area Two detectives are investigating.
