Man shot in traffic in West Englewood

CHICAGO - A man was shot in traffic and hospitalized Friday night in the West Englewood neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was traveling in a vehicle around 10 p.m. when someone in a black four-door sedan started shooting in the 6700 block of South Damen Avenue, according to police.

The victim was transported to Holy Cross Hospital where he was listed in good condition.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
