Missing man from Des Plaines is located

DES PLAINES, Ill. - An 81-year-old man who went missing Tuesday from Des Plaines has been located.

Kenneth Orstead was reported missing about 10:45 p.m. from the northwest suburb, Illinois State Police said.

The alert was canceled Wednesday morning, when authorities said Orstead had been located.
