Suspect at large following deadly shooting in West Englewood: police

CHICAGO - A 55-year-old man was fatally shot in West Englewood Saturday morning. 

Chicago police say the victim was in the 6700 block of South Ashland Avenue at 11 a.m. when someone in a car fired shots at him. 

The victim was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in grave condition and was later pronounced dead. 

No arrests have been made. Area One detectives are investigating.
