A high-risk 16-year-old girl and her 2-month-old son who were reported missing from Chicago last February have been located.

The backstory:

Mariangel Gomez, 16, and her infant son were previously last seen on Feb. 18 in the 600 block of West Irving Park Road, according to a CPD missing person alert.

Chicago police canceled the missing person alert on Tuesday, saying they had been "successfully located."

No further information was provided.
