Teenage girl shot while in car on DuSable Lake Shore Drive

CHICAGO - A teenage girl was shot while driving in a car on DuSable Lake Shore Drive on Sunday.

Chicago police said the shooting happened on the 1700 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive, which is near Belmont Harbor.

Around 7 p.m., the girl, 17, was traveling in a car when she was shot in the back.

She was rushed to the hospital in good condition.

The shooting is under investigation.
