Here's why a NASA spacecraft is crashing into an asteroid

A NASA spacecraft could make history Monday night. The double asteroid redirection test, or "DART," is on course to intentionally collide with a small asteroid. The mission launched in November of last year on the Space-X Falcon 9 Rocket.
