Report reveals hidden costs for Americans

Even if you don't own an electric car, as taxpayers and utility ratepayers, you're paying for them—the car, the charging network, power lines, and electricity. A new report says collectively, Americans over the next decade will pay almost $50,000 in mostly hidden subsidies and credits that most of us will never see.
