Milwaukee approves permit process for RNC protests despite free speech concerns

The road to the White House goes through both Chicago and Milwaukee this summer, as both cities are hosting the Democrat and Republican national conventions. On Wednesday, the Milwaukee mayor signed legislation creating a permit process for protesting during the RNC. That signature of approval comes despite opponents pleading with the city to hold off. They say the ordinance violates their right to free speech.
