Chicago officials defend approach to lead pipe notifications

Some Chicago officials are defending their decision to fall short of federal and state requirements to notify nearly a million residents about toxic lead service lines. They argue resources are better spent replacing pipes rather than mailing notices. Jennifer Walling of the Illinois Environmental Council joins us to weigh in.
