Dogs could soon be allowed in Chicago restaurants | ChicagoNOW
Alderman Timmy Knudsen wants to overhaul city code banning dogs in restaurants, giving eateries that follow necessary sanitation and safety rules the option to allow dogs inside. The measure, which goes before City Council on Thursday, would overhaul city code that currently bans dogs from retail food establishments, except for service animals.
