Accused shooter in National Guard attack pleads not guilty from hospital bed

Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the 29-year-old Afghan national accused of shooting two National Guard troops last week, pleaded not guilty during a video court appearance from his hospital bed. Specialist Sarah Beckstrom was killed in the attack, and Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe continues to recover.
