Feds charge 36 alleged Chicago area gang members with murder, arson, assault and more

Dozens of members of the Latin Kings street gang in the Chicago area and northern Indiana have been arrested on charges of a federal racketeering conspiracy that included arson, beatings, extortion, witness tampering and the attempted murder of a police officer, according to indictments unsealed Tuesday.
