Suburban police sergeant shot son in dispute over vodka: prosecutor

A dispute over stolen vodka ? replaced with water ? apparently drove a suburban police sergeant to shoot and critically wound his son in his Southwest Side home, Cook County prosecutors alleged Thursday.
