Illinois school superintendent part of National Guard in DC

Lieutenant Colonel John Bryk of the Air National Guard is the joint task force commander for Illinois in the massive effort to ensure a peaceful presidential inauguration on Wednesday. The lieutenant colonel also has a day job. Folks in south suburban Orland Park know him as the superintendent of School District 135.
