Trump says corporations, not consumers, will pay for AI data centers

Speaking at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) headquarters on Thursday, President Donald Trump that the cost of building out, and maintaining, AI data centers will be paid by corporations that use them and not American consumers, as part of the Ratepayer Protection Pledge.
