Heirs of Promise garden program helps Austin kids grow fresh food

Kids in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood are learning how to grow fresh fruits and vegetables through the Heirs of Promise Garden Program. This visit is part of FOX 32 Cares’ effort to raise $15,000 for the Greater Chicago Food Depository — enough to provide 45,000 meals for kids this summer.
