Chicago nonprofit sues federal government over education funding cuts | ChicagoLIVE

The Brighton Park Neighborhood Council, a Chicago nonprofit, is suing the U.S. Department of Education over funding cuts that supported wraparound services for students in high-poverty and rural areas. We speak with Patrick Brosnan, executive director of the Brighton Park Neighborhood Council, about why the lawsuit was filed, how the funding was used and what the cuts could mean for students and families.
