Former DePaul players among dozens charged in massive college basketball game-fixing scheme

Federal prosecutors say more than a dozen college basketball players, including several former DePaul University athletes, were paid thousands of dollars to rig NCAA games as part of a global betting scheme tied to China. The three-year investigation alleges players across 17 Division I programs deliberately underperformed to manipulate gambling outcomes.
