Community to honor Buffalo Grove security guard who died saving students

Earlier this year, Buffalo Grove High School security guard Orlando Rivas was killed while protecting students. He was helping them cross the street when a car veered off the road. Rivas pushed the students to safety but was struck by a falling pole. Tomorrow night, the community will come together to honor him and raise money for his family.
