It’s been a year and a half of back-and-forth for alderman Brian Hopkins of Chicago’s 2nd Ward, who has been pushing for a snap curfew aimed at curbing the takeovers. Hopkins says he’s not giving up. Today I spoke with him via zoom he says when he returns to chicago he's back to the drawing board to work on a new proposal.
