Chicago weather: Clouds linger with late-day severe storm threat

Today is mostly cloudy with temperatures ranging from cool north, warmer south, expected to be hovering around the upper 50s and low 60s. 

The chance for storms is back late this afternoon and tonight. We have the threat for severe weather, and again all hazards are possible. The storm prediction center has most of Chicagoland in a marginal risk (1/5) with the very SW counties in slight (2/5). 

Looking ahead:

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with showers around, especially early. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 50s. 

Easter is looking to be dry with partly sunny skies. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 50s. 

Monday will be mostly sunny with highs around 50. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 40s. 

Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs in the low 60s. There is a chance for rain Wednesday night and Thursday. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid 60s.
