13-year-old shot in Austin neighborhood
A 13-year-old boy was shot in the back on the West side in the Austin neighborhood just before 8:30 p.m.
It happened at 5500 West Jackson.
The boy was taken in critical condition to Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Police were on the scene as of 9:30 p.m.
There were no suspects in custody.
