Chicago police hosting gun turn-in event this Saturday in Lawndale
Chicago police are hosting a gun turn-in even this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Lighthouse Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, 3004 W. Lexington St.
COOK COUNTY - Sixteen guns have been seized in Cook County over the last two weeks, the Cook County Sheriff's Office said.
The guns have been seized in Ford Heights, Orland Park, Harvey, Chicago, Robbins and Palos Heights.

This has led to seven arrests with charges of aggravated battery, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and revoked FOID card.
