At least 89 Cook County Jail detainees, 12 employees have COVID-19

CHICAGO - There are now at least 89 detainees at Cook County Jail who have coronavirus.

The jail released new information Saturday evening, which also said that 12 Cook County Sheriff's Department employees have also tested positive.

The sheriff's department is waiting for results on 92 detainees, and said that nine others tested negative.
