Chicago Botanic Garden charging admission for first time in history

For the first time in its 50 year history, the Chicago Botanic Garden is charging admission. 

The garden is going to start charging guests anywhere from $10 to $26.

In exchange, parking rates will be reduced to $8.

The Chicago Botanic Garden says this will help with yearly costs.

It will still offer 52 free days a year for guests to visit.
