Chicago man accused of driving 135 mph in 70 mph zone

CHICAGO (Fox 32 News) - A Chicago man was arrested after allegedly going 135 miles per hour on the Indiana Toll Road.

Indiana State Police said that Deshun M. Guy, 26, was arrested after he blew by a state trooper in a 2018 Ford SUV going 96 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone. State police said that during the subsequent pursuit, Guy sped in excess of 135 miles per hour.

Guy was eventually taken into custody after crashing his car, fleeing on to the U.S. Steel mill property, and stealing a U.S. Steel mill uniform and white hard hat.

Police said that they found cocaine and $1,000 inside Guy's car.
