Chicago police say 7-year-old boy was shot on his way to church

Chicago police talk about the shooting of a 7-year-old boy in Roseland.

A 17-year-old was shot in the eye on Sunday afternoon in Chicago.

Police said the young man was standing on a porch on South Justine near 90th in Washington Heights around noon when someone opened fire.

He was hit in the left eye and rushed to Christ Hospital in serious condition.
