Chicagoans line up, fail to make 43-yard field goal

CHICAGO (Fox 32 News) - Dozens of people lined up for their chance to kick a 43-yard field goal in Chicago on Saturday, and like the Bears infamous kicker, they all fell short.

The stunt was put together by Goose Island Brewery after kicker Cody Parkey's failure in the final seconds of the Bears final game of the season.

The brewery had initially planned to give the winner free beer for a year, but that is illegal. So the updated prize was hotel, airfare and tickets to any NFL game the winning kicker wanted.

Nobody made the field goal.
