Cook County small businesses can apply for new grant

Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle announced the 2023 Source Grant fund Wednesday.

COOK COUNTY, Ill. - Small businesses are getting a boost.

Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle announced the 2023 Source Grant fund Wednesday.

The fund will give out $40 million to thousands of small businesses beginning next year.

The money will be given out in $10,000 and $20,000 increments.

Businesses can start applying on July 20.
