What they're saying:
In a statement, Assistant State’s Attorney Morgan Wilkinson said, "Thank you to the multidisciplinary team at the Kane County Child Advocacy Center—especially Investigator Ruzevich, whose hard work allowed us to secure this conviction without putting the child through the trauma of testifying against their abuser, and Child Advocate Cali Stephenson. Most importantly, thank you to the Victim in this case for demonstrating tremendous bravery in telling what happened to them, ensuring it won’t happen to anyone else."
