Game 1 of the National League Championship Series between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodger drew big crowds to Wrigleyville Saturday night.

Curse or no curse most Cubs fans are confident about the chances this postseason run.

“Not nervous, not nervous, I'm positive they are going to the World Series," said lifelong Cubs fan Dawn General.

Cubs fans are convinced this is the year and maybe the players too.

Jessica Delp, who’s engaged to Kris Bryant, said the players don’t seem to be nervous.

“I think fans are little more nervous, but they don't believe in the curse they don't believe in any of it they are just like ‘We are here and we are going to do our best,’” said Delp. “This goat has got to go."

Delp - who's planning a wedding during the off-season with Bryant – said nothing has changed this postseason - no extra pressure just keeping it routine.

She said Bryant doesn't have any game day superstitions, but fans do.  Like Al Capasso  and his “lucky” blue socks.

"I wore these to the game last week the division series and they won so, how do I not wear them,” said Capasso.

Richard Calderon said it’s his hat that will force a win.

“I bought it last time I was here and they won, we are going to try it again,” said Calderon.

Game two will be Sunday night at 7:08pm at Wrigley Field.
