MILWAUKEE (AP) — Two brothers are charged in house party shooting that left one man dead in Milwaukee. Roderick Leblanc is charged with reckless homicide in the July 4th death of Mario Dancer. Dumar Leblanc is charged with threatening to kill a witness.

RACINE, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say a Wisconsin man has died after he went overboard while sailing on Lake Michigan. The initial investigation shows Greg Jackson was sailing the 44-foot Catalina and had been working on an issue with the sail toward the boat's bow. His friend noticed Jackson was in the water a short time later. Jackson was taken to a local hospital. That's where he was pronounced dead.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A former Dane County deputy has received a 120-day jail sentence for his relationship with a woman in sheriff's custody. Jeffrey Hilgers was found guilty last month of sexual assault. Deputy District Attorney Michelle Viste has said state law forbids sexual contact between jailers and inmates.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A trade association says sales of existing homes in the Milwaukee area spiked more than 23 percent last month from a year earlier. A monthly report from the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors says there were 2,370 home closings in June in the four area counties. The Realtors group said average sale prices went up by double-digit percentages in the first half of 2015 in Milwaukee, Washington and Ozaukee counties.
