HIGHWOOD, Illinois (Fox 32 News) - This weekend, eager carvers will once again try to help Highwood, Ill., break the world record for most lit pumpkins.
The Great Highwood Pumpkin Fest attracts thousands of visitors to the Chicago suburb every year.
Visitors can carve their own pumpkins, which are set on temporary shelves and all lit at the same time.
The current world record for most lit jack-o-lanterns is 30,581.
