MINOOKA, Ill. - A semi rolled over on I-80 Tuesday afternoon in Minooka, blocking all lanes of traffic and sending the driver to the hospital.
What we know:
The crash happened around 5:41 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-80, according to the Illinois State Police.
The semi was traveling in the eastbound lanes when it drove off the roadway, through the median and rolled over. The driver was airlifted to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.
The expressway was closed in both directions for several hours for investigation and clean-up. All lanes were reopened around 12:15 a.m.
